As I think back over the years I’ve come mighty far. I can vividly remember Maryland 2009, Tommy and I leaving the apartment to purchase my very first wheelchair. The chair that I didn’t think I needed.

I leave there feeling grateful to be who I am, like I am, because things can truly be worse, with this progressive disease things can really get worse, MAYBE. I have to live with this huge maybe. I’ve said before, it’s my cross to bear.
